1st Training Event in Brussels
October 7, 2024PS-U-GO participated in OpenLivingLab Days 2024, the flagship annual event of the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL), held in Timișoara, Romania, from 24 to 27 September 2024.
As a major international gathering for the Living Labs community, the event brought together living lab practitioners, public officials, corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, academics, and innovators from around the world. It provided an important platform for networking, exchanging best practices, exploring emerging trends, and building collaborations around innovation and societal challenges.
During the event, the PS-U-GO project was presented through the contribution:
“Fostering inclusive engagement and transformation in Urban Living Labs: ‘Education in Living Labs: Participatory Skills for Sustainable Urban Governance’ research project”
by Nadia Charalambous, Christina Panayi, and Christine Mady.
The presentation highlighted PS-U-GO’s approach to Urban Living Labs as spaces for inclusive participation, learning, and urban transformation, with a focus on strengthening participatory skills for sustainable urban governance.
The 2024 edition of OpenLivingLab Days was co-organized with the West University of Timișoara, host of the Digital and Green Living Lab, and took place at the ICAM Institute – Institute for Advanced Environmental Research in Timișoara.
For PS-U-GO, participation in OpenLivingLab Days was a valuable opportunity to connect its work with the wider international Living Labs ecosystem and to share its research and practice with a global community of innovators and practitioners.
