PS-U-GO presented at the 25th International Conference on Computational Science and Its Applications
July 7, 2025On 25 June 2025, the PS-U-GO project took part in the online event “Pro-GREEN-LABs: Lab Unit Inauguration”, organised to mark the soft opening of the newly equipped Pro-GREEN-LABs across the five SEMED partner institutions. The event, held online, brought together researchers, project partners and representatives from several Erasmus+ initiatives to exchange experiences and explore potential synergies in the field of sustainable urban development.
The inauguration celebrated the completion of Phase 2 of the Pro-GREEN-LABs project and the beginning of Phase 3, during which the newly established laboratories will operate as hubs for experimentation, teaching and applied research in green urbanism and climate-responsive design.
Within this context, the PS-U-GO project was invited to contribute to the discussion by presenting its objectives and ongoing activities. The project was introduced by Stefania Ragozino, Senior Researcher at CNR IRISS and coordinator of the CNR IRISS unit within the PS-U-GO project. Her intervention provided an overview of the project’s approach to participatory urban governance and the role of Urban Living Labs as experimental educational spaces aimed at strengthening participatory skills for sustainable urban governance.
The event offered an opportunity for dialogue among different Erasmus+ projects working on urban sustainability, innovation and capacity building, fostering knowledge exchange and highlighting possible collaborations between initiatives addressing shared challenges in urban and regional development.
